Brackley, UK – Faccenda Foods has been named Meat Management’s Manufacturer of the Year for 2017. Voted for by readers of Meat Management, this is the second time Faccenda have scooped the top prize in the last 3 years, winning previously in 2015.
In a challenging market Faccenda has continued to invest throughout its supply chain and on important issues, like food safety and animal welfare, with a particular focus on tackling Campylobacter and reducing antibiotic use. Together with its continued commitment to its people, this investment is positioning the business for long term success.
Collecting the award on the night, Faccenda’s Operations Director Phil Davidson said: “To be named as the Manufacturer of the Year at the 2017 Meat Management Awards is a fantastic achievement and a real honour. For me, this award is about the hard work and dedication of the 3,600 individuals that make up Faccenda Foods and who deliver for our customers day-in day-out. Brackley, UK – Faccenda Foods, one of the UK’s leading food companies, has filed annual results for the 2016 financial year that reflect a continuation of the previous year’s tough trading environment.
